Thankfully, the anti-science propaganda campaign surrounding man-made climate change seems to have lost some of its effect.

Are you seeing storm clouds on the horizon? Two recent studies suggest that the latest anti-science campaign is following its forerunners--the propaganda campaigns attempting to refute science that tobacco causes cancer, that CFC's caused the hole in the ozone layer, and so on—into oblivion. Global warming denial seems to have climbed to a peak in 2010, and global warming acceptance is now climbing. This bodes well for rational public policy.

"And EVEN YOUR sources admit, no warming in 18 years and counting."

Um no they do not. Sorry but repeating that just isn't going to make it reality.

Especially in light of the recent findings that the oceans in the upper levels are getting warmer.

Augusts ocean temps tie last Junes hottest temp record. That's so!!

Was it magic or maybe aliens stole the Ice ? One things for sure , it's not there anymore !

That still doesn't address the fact that the Arctic has lost about 70% of its total volume of sea ice over the past three decades.

Ahhhh the true believers still believe.

And EVEN YOUR sources admit, no warming in 18 years and counting.

And because I know you will.

NO ONE IS SUPPORTING THE GOVERNMENT TAKEOVER OF OUR ENERGY INDUSTRY!

The things that we know will happen with a warming planet are. Sea level rise. Unpredictable seasonal weather patterns. More intense droughts.

The whole thing with there being more warmth is that it translates to their being more energy in the atmosphere.

There is a good bit of uncertainty in regards to what exactly is going to happen climate wise to this planet.

BUT! There are some things that we know will happen if the planet continues to warm. Which it has been doing and you Stillhere/Tiredofit agreed with until you changed your story. You might have disagreed with the cause but you did agree that it was going on until that angle played out for your crusade and you took up the no warming in 18 years bit.

" Unforeseen phenomenon can't exactly be programed into a model." Typo correction.

No one is having a fit. LOL! I don't know about the others but I find it really amusing that you are getting tripped up by simple aspect of science.

As new information comes in scientific findings change.

You are also tripped up on the aspects of climate modeling. The models can not really predict what is going to happen in the short term.

Our weather and climate is a very dynamic thing.

We just don't have the ability to simulate the whole shebang in the most absolute of detail.

Thats why its really no surprise when a prediction is off. Unforeseen phenomenon can exactly be programed into a model. Like the wind shear changing in the Atlantic in such a way that it prevents the formation of Hurricanes after it was said that they would become more numerous and more powerful.

Deflect, deny all you want but facts are facts !That still doesn't address the fact that the Arctic has lost about 70% of its total volume of sea ice over the past three decades.

Stillhere informed us that "the upper part of the world’s oceans continue to absorb heat from global warming."

There is no pause. It continues.

Now you have a fit if I quote NASA or NOAA.

Even as you tried to "hide the decline" reality was just too much.

Ahhh remember the salad days of global warming? The dire predictions, ice free artic by 2007, killer storms , rising oceans swallowing up cities. Lol ahhh the good ole days

Failed models, failed predictions, bad science, political agenda. Global warming lol

"Lol as EVERY prediction fails to materialize, NOW they claim we cannot believe their own sources, lolool"

No whats really funny is that you complain about funding being a big influence on why the scientists make the findings they do therefore every things they say must be suspect.

That is until you find a scientist that supports what you believe who you then cite as proof of your positions. All the while never giving them the same scrutiny that you give to scientists who support an issue that you disagree with.

Global warming continues, according to stillhere, who posted that "the upper part of the world’s oceans continue to absorb heat from global warming."

Stillhere

Lol you haven't got anything right, but you are still convinced.
