Thankfully, the anti-science propaganda campaign surrounding man-made climate change seems to have lost some of its effect.

Are you seeing storm clouds on the horizon? Two recent studies suggest that the latest anti-science campaign is following its forerunners--the propaganda campaigns attempting to refute science that tobacco causes cancer, that CFC's caused the hole in the ozone layer, and so on—into oblivion. Global warming denial seems to have climbed to a peak in 2010, and global warming acceptance is now climbing. This bodes well for rational public policy.

" The burden of proof is on the individual proposing existence, not the one questioning existence."

Ok. See previous posts in this here forum.

But you must know that you are proposing the existence of the fact that mans does not have a role in climate change so you are therefore responsible in proving the existence of what you say.

To you this fact is concrete and tangible therefore it exists and requires said proof.

Tiredofit. Do you old chap spray vinegar at chemtrails?

Because the excuses you put on the table for not believing this stuff is akin to doing just that.

Conversing with Tiredofit is like trying to talk sensibly with the chemtrail and 9-11 truther nuts.

There's no way to penetrate their circular logic.

They have what they believe and if anything contradicts it. They will find a way to discount the conflicting facts.

They see life through Funhouse Mirrors.

And what they see is filled with distortions .

"They reward those that develop theories that predict devastation by funding more and more of their research."

This is just Tiredofit's fear addled mind trying to justify not believing in something that contradicts something he believes.

So he invents a reason.

Well I think its becoming more clear by the post that Tiredofit can only see things in a certain light.

If what he sees doesn't jive with what he believes or he is told something that contradicts what he wants to believe he just discounts it. He then blindly attaches one of his asinine justifications to it so that he can discount it.

Those justifications are: 1.They're doing it for money. 2.Its a socialist plot. Its usually one of those two.

Ithink....is your strategy in all this, "When in doubt..bring up Al Gore"

Isn't that akin to the Far Left that says, "When in doubt..bring up Dubya Bush"?

One thing for sure, Rush and Fox News are more credible than you.

Posted 30 days ago.

Not "research". It's manipulating and manufacturing lies. Instead of Gore, et al, being right about the Arctic ice being gone, it is increasing. Silly guessers

Like I said , unless Rush or Faux said it is true tirebrain will po-po it !

Posted 30 days ago.

Ohwiseone

Well I guess that tiredbrain cant be wrong when there wont ever be any research it will believe ! All research is funded one way or another so there can never be any that has any basis in fact !Millions of hours of research invalidated by the simple notion that tiredbrain says its all skewed because of funding !

"Cannot prove a negative."

I have never asked you to prove the negative...not once. You should try to make your lies more opaque.

Ohweirdone, do you only know about rich republiicans ? Take a look at Soros...the Kennedy family, Jay Rockefeller, Pelosi, Boxer, Reid, and a pack of other rich democrats.

And if they are not rich, they will be when they leave office. Like Clinton and Gore. Look for Bamy to be a millionaire, too. Going green means raking in green dollars for democrat politicians.

Ohweirdone, I change your name because you change names.

It would appear you don't have a bit...that I agree with. ;)

"They reward those that develop theories that predict devastation.."

No proof, new fearmongering.

"He calls skeptics illogical yet he thinks women came from Adams rib?"

Tired, that is one of the worse pi** poor attempt at deflection I have ever seen on here and that means alot after seeing your daily rants.

"Big oil has found a way to profit by cooperation with the socialists."

Evidence or are you speculating again?

Exactly, myth. As I posted before, even Exxon and Shell now acknowledge that man is heating the planet.

Being rational, these former funders of climate science denialism know they must adapt to the best info available, which comes from 97% of the most-expert climate researchers.

The irrational, on the other hand...

"The GOVT does not give grants to those whos findings say its a natural cycle.."

Guess those scientists are not very convincing.

Posted 30 days ago.

Ohwiseone

Look , just because research is funded in part by the government doesn't make their findings invalid ! What is invalid is the republicans trying to protect their wealthy benefactors (coal, oil) from something that might cost these same benefactors money !!! Its the same with Obamacare, the only difference is its the healthcare insurance industry they are protecting ! They don't really give a rats arse about Joe Lunchbox or his /her rights ! All this debate is just about MONEY!!!!

That is until like in the case of the biofuel alternatives being developed by the Navy are sidelined out of pure political vindictiveness.

Because why oh why should our navy be investing in alternative fuels when its all based on a hoax anyways?

So its clear. The navy got so far as to actually have an F/A-18 flying on on a 50/50 mix of biofuel.

I don't think its been totally sidelined fortunately. Although quite a few congressman pulled out their binkies and cried of few tears over it.
