Thankfully, the anti-science propaganda campaign surrounding man-made climate change seems to have lost some of its effect.

Are you seeing storm clouds on the horizon? Two recent studies suggest that the latest anti-science campaign is following its forerunners--the propaganda campaigns attempting to refute science that tobacco causes cancer, that CFC's caused the hole in the ozone layer, and so on—into oblivion. Global warming denial seems to have climbed to a peak in 2010, and global warming acceptance is now climbing. This bodes well for rational public policy.

LOL! Its hilarious that Tiredofit is digging stuff up that is running around on conspiracy websites.

I mean this NASA stuff. LOL! Alex Jones has it on his site.

An old man named Whizzer Shelby over near Maysville kept horses in a field of lush bluegrass. He’d fenced off one corner of his field, making a separate enclosure, inside which a single horse ran around in circles and, nose in air, brayed GEE—GAWK! GEE--GAWK! He had trampled all the grass down in his corner.

One day Whizzer’s cousin from Falmouth dropped by. “Whizzer,” he said. “That horse sounds like a ******* on locoweed. Whyn’t you put him with the other horses where the good grass is so he’ll quit complainin’?

“That ain’t no complaint,” Whizzer explained. “That’s his howl of triumph. When he gets over with the others, he don’t eat. He just brays and bumps them so they cain’t eat. When I put him here, he thinks he’s won something. You’re listenin’ to his victory cry.”

The cousin scratched his head. “Must be part of that counter climate change bunch.”

And another thing Ohwiseone. All these posts that Tiredofit is bombing this forum with. It is literally him trying to get one of us to bite.

He doesn't care about this issue. He's just a rabble-rouser.

Rabble-rouser: a person who speaks with the intention of inflaming the emotions of a crowd of people, typically for political reasons.

Ohwiseone listen. When Tiredofit rejects all the facts we lay on the table. The truthfulness of which doesn't matter all. And then claims that we haven't provided any proof...then asks for more proof.

Its a game. Its a game he uses to cast doubt. Its real easy for him to do what he is doing. We know its pointless to try prove our positions to him. He knows this also and uses our refusal to "debate" with him against us.

Thats also why he goes about posting loads of unattributed posts all the while making claims we haven't provided any proof. It covers up the posts we have made and makes him look like the king of the mountain.

We do know than the healing of the ozone layer cannot be accurately determined because of the continuing accumulation of greenhouse gases. You do concede that process, don't you, tired?

Aaah. He's trolling. Trying to stir the pot.

Strange that a grown man would seek attention by fomenting confrontation.

I knew this guy and everytime he wanted to stir the pot and get people riled up he'd start off with this comment 'now I aint trying to start nothin but...'.

Seems to me that O'l Tiredofit...aint trying to start nothin.

"In perhaps a further contrary development for the climate change adherents, it’s been reported that the polar ice cap is actually expanding rather than contracting: “"

There is a nice little switcheroo in this post by Tiredofit. Well copy pasted by Tiredofit.

What is not mentioned is that Arctic Sea ice(northern ice cap) is getting thinner. Even though it has expanded rapidly in the past few years the ice itself is not as thick.

But then they mention that a ship got stuck in the sea ice down in Antarctica. Which hasn't seen nearly as much melt as the Arctic in the north. In some cases the ice is actually increasing down there.

Context is everything.

And who are those climate scientists who claim CO2 isn't a greenhouse gas?

All you've put up is a bunch of smoke you copied and pasted.

Thats all good and well buuuuuuuuut....just like the facts that we put on the table that you say are false even when they are truthful and correct..like a coin there is a flipside to who you cite as proof of your position.

Its only sources that support your position.

And bad sources at that.

Maybe you better go back to getting your climate science information from the guy who wrote "As We Sodomize America."

What was his name again? Where did he get his degree in climate science?

Posted 503 days ago.

harryanderson

Thanks for pointing out another two climate scientists who agree.

And I see the "scientific debate" has again been "of enormous frustration" to you, so you've moved on to quoting Anthony Watts. From where did he get his degree again?

And here’s the rest of the story, which is the part Tiredofit won’t tell you.

It’s called global climate change, not just NE Pacific. And the study’s authors support the conclusions of almost all climate scientists—human emissions are warming the globe.

“But he and Amy Snover, head of UW’s Climate Impacts Group, said the larger point is that the study doesn’t change the long-term trend. ‘We know we’re in for a bumpy ride. We know that the influence of humans on climate is only growing over time. We expect over coming decades for that influence to get bigger and bigger.’

“On that, the study’s authors agreed. ‘Global warming is still proceeding,’ (co-author Nate) Mantua said. ‘And it’s still a really huge deal that’s going to shape the future and be a bigger and bigger part of our story.’”

Again, the study’s co-author says, “Global warming is still proceeding and it’s still a really huge deal that’s going to shape the future…”

Tiredofit, thanks for providing yet more evidence of global climate change.

Heh, heh, heh.

That’s two more climate scientists to add to our tally. It’s now 8-0.

Here's more supporters of action who surely aren't socialists-- businesses.

"With political efforts to slow global warming moving at a tortuous pace, some of the world’s largest companies are stepping into the void, pledging more support for renewable energy, greener supply chains and fresh efforts to stop the destruction of the world’s tropical forests."
