There is no movement in the United States to kill people in the name of second amendment rights but there is a movement that has murdered 1,200,000 children in the name of women's rights

The silver tongued talking heads on the magic living room box would have us believe that the country is in an uproar over the alleged murders of 26 people at an elementary school in Newtown, CT. An investigation is still pending. But the allegations are flying. Generally speaking, the anti-constitutionalists who don't own guns, have never fired guns and certainly have limited ability to identify them, would be willing to take away one of our most important constitutional right because they believe it would make them more "safe". None of the gun violence in America has been committed in the name of gun rights. Also, keep in mind, these anti-constitutionalists generally are of the same demographic that also believes that murdering 1,200,000 American children in 2012 in the name of women's rights is acceptable.

they have been reporting it, it's your media who isn't reporting it apparently or you'd have known.

Ok, I stand corrected. Three of the seven murder charges have been dropped against him. If mainstream media would actually report on the topic, obtaining information would be easier.

No charges have been dropped against Kermit Gosnell, but three members of his staff have already plead guilty to third-degree murder charges.

"three" not "the".

Did they not just drop the murder charges against kermit?

Not many libruls (liberals want to rule us all) know about Dr Gosnell. Those kinds of facts are carefully hidden by the media.

Dr. Kermit Gosnell of Philadelphia is an abortion doctor who not only performed abortions, but on several occasions when the abortion went wrong, and a baby was born alive, he stabbed the live infant in the base of the neck with a pair of scissors to kill it. He is charged with killing seven infants and one mother, who died of an overdose of Demerol - and those are just the ones that we know about.

As medical technology continues to improve and viable babies are born and survive earlier and earlier in a pregnancy, it becomes less like terminating a pregnancy and more like taking a life every day.

And to "see" god. The information of him/it would be too much to handle. Ergo the light of the creator would blind us.

I can accept that. If you look at reality. My what a deep rabbit hole it is.....

Like the human body. Take the exact chemicals that exist in a human and put them in a container and you just have a pile of stuff. It takes the organizing life force to bring it all together and make it work.

Its amazing the extreme amount of order present in all things.

Dont take this in a wrong manner but I prefer not to look at all of this in any biased manner. For me religion is too biased. I'd have to accept one groups story over another ones.

Life and creation is like a painting. We all see it through different eyes.

I've heard it said that to see god it would be a blinding experience. Maybe in an allegorical sense if one where to see the vastness of the creator the scope of it would be lost on a person because our minds just cant really comprehend something of such scale. A blinding light is the over saturation of the eyes by a highly luminescent source. In an allegorical sense our "sight" could be the level of our perception to the information before us.

If there is a creator. I choose not to define it because I feel there is so much we dont or cant know about it.

I am not totally shut to the idea that there is a creator. I just like looking at things in a logical manner. I also don't necessarily trust the word of man to convey to me the details of what is undoubtedly a very complex subject.

If you believe in god. And you believe he/it created all of that which is around us. Just think of the physics that makes it possible for you to respond to my posts on this website.

If there is a creator. It made that possible.

The amount of knowledge necessary to make that happen....is vast.

How can man presume to know anything about such a thing with any kind of real clarity given our immaturity as a species?

To me when I think about that I stand in awe and wonder.

Honestly some things may be unknowable. Like whats past the boundary of the universe.

Think about this though. Science is nothing more than act of seeing how god built it all.

This brings up an issue I have with religion. Given the depth of the discovery when it comes to how the universe works I am not comfortable in accepting religions take on a supreme creator because its too simple.

For something to create what is around us..reality itself suggests that if there is a creator it is of a far more complex nature than what religion describes.

Taking into consideration the rules we see in religion and considering the power that god has to create all of this. Some of those rules just seem useless to something so grand in scope.

I dont know that the world isn't any more wicked than it already was in past. Sad to say but wickedness has been around for a very long time.

God holds he world in His hands. Everyone needs Him NOW. He controls the sun, the moon, and all the universe.

The air we breathe, and gravity that holds us in place can be gone in an instant if the world gets so wicked that He won't abide it. As I look around, I see a very wicked world.

Where did the universe come from, that expands and contracts.

How, scientifically, did it begin?

How did life begin, using proveable scientific facts?

How did the smiggins of matter become male and female in order to repoduce? Scientific proof, please.

My imagination isn't wild enough to see anything in evolution except fairy tales.

Was there are big bang? The universes nature may be that it expands and contracts infinitely. With no beginning point at all.

I choose not to believe any religions take on the creation and nature of the universe because you cant separate out what is just simple explanative story telling who's sole point is the soothing of fears and the assuaging of peoples intense need for purpose and what may be proof that there is a creator.

Science simply looks at what is and through scrutiny of facts and the testing of the same explanations are formed that shows what makes this universe tick.

With out any bias. Although I am sure you will sneer about that and declare that false.

Just make the stupid Christians stomp on a piece of paper with the name Jesus on it.

And make sure there are no "Easter" eggs around.

After you do that, stage a violent protest shouting about Christians forcing their beliefs on you.

Some people need what religion can offer them. I mean that in all sincerity.

Atheism isn't for everyone. Thats why I take issue with the signs proclaiming atheism.

It to me is a realization that has to come with intense inner reflection and an absolutist view on everything when it comes to how and why things are the way they are.

Completely remove the human "need" for something to be something other than what it really is.

Reductionism is one of the "tools" that I use when looking at some things.
