Make my day! HAPPY HOLIDAYS! Member CommentsAaronS“How many armed employees does DHS have?” The best I can find is ~100,000 which begs the question, why do we have 100,000 armed employees at the Department of Homeland Security but that’s another thread. Maybe Barney McScott will start it. “How much gun range time do they need to ensure their proficiency?” The first thing you have to do is define proficiency. The next thing you have to do is determine who needs to carry a weapon and how often they need to qualify. That determines how many rounds are needed. It’s not easily accessible information. I’ve looked. All you find are extreme right wing sites like Alex Jones versus extreme left wing sites like Mother Jones and Media Matters. The question then becomes which lie d you believe. For me, I’d rather find credible information and unfortunately on this topic, that’s hard to do. Posted 2 days ago. AaronSThe number of rounds purchased is also part of the lie. One site says 450 M and one says 1.8 B annually so again, which site do you believe? I know little of the sites on the right other than Alex Jones is as McScott as many on the left which is saying a lot given the lies of the left to push their agenda. I’d like to know the truth as this is about wasted taxpayer $, not hoarding. I know the left is out to ban weapons at any cost and as they have zero options of overturning the 2nd Amendment I have no doubt that if they can regulate ammo, they will. I’ve heard far too many of the loons from that side state that the 2nd Amendment does not cover ammo so it’s a no brainer of what they will do to anyone with a brain. Saying that, I’m not sure that is what this is. The only thing that would lead me to believe the right is being a tad more honest is that the DHS did redact information regarding the request for quote, stating it was classified. That concerns me. Posted 2 days ago. burningdownthehouseSo where is that citation on the 66000 armed employees ya liar? Posted 2 days ago. burningdownthehouseaaron is playing stupid, just like his other monikers ithink and tired of it. this has been answered numerous times now. Posted 2 days ago. mythravereHow many armed employees does DHS have? How much gun range time do they need to ensure their proficiency? I imagine that takes a lot of rounds. Posted 2 days ago. AaronSCan't you read McScott, I agree the SSA purchase appears to be legitimate although I have no idea why the need so many armed perronnel. Is there really that big of a threat facing social security employees? My question to you is, why is DHS buying so much ammo? Who are they going to war with? Posted 2 days ago. burningdownthehousejust because you got caught being the trifecta, no reason for you to be a total douche. Posted 3 days ago. burningdownthehouseShow where there are 66000 "armed" SSA employees. citation needed. They have 66000 employees, not "armed employees" as they are not. Posted 3 days ago. AaronSNow thatI've answered why SSA purchased ammo Barney McDcott, care to address why DHS needs to fight the Iraq war for 24 years. That's a lot of training, don't you think. Posted 3 days ago. AaronSSSA has 66000 armed members skippy. The reason given for the ammo purchase is 174000 rounds meaning they get 2.63 rounds apiece. So they get 1.63 more rounds than Barney McScott. That seems about right given the quality of most government employees, don't you agree McScott. Posted 3 days ago. burningdownthehouse"You do realize that training and live fire takes a lot of ammunition right? You do also realize that training with your carry ammunition is the best way? How many 357 sig rounds are you or any one else you know shooting?" Posted 3 days ago. burningdownthehouseyou can circle jerk all you want, there. Both the DHS and SSA are in that link to snopes. also I answered as to "why" they'd need ammo. again it shows you really don't know anything about training in firearms. you have asked and been answered. again Posted 3 days ago. AaronSI'm surprised you haven't found why SS needs even 170+k rounds. It was so easy. And where did I say anything about a conspircy scooter. I ask why the agencies need the bulk purchases. So why do they? Posted 3 days ago. AaronSI was wrong on the 21 million number. It should have been 2.1 million. Now focus scooter. Why would the SSA need that many rounds? Answer that and then we'll deal with DHS. Which was not addressed in the link as you (lie) claim. I know you can't handle too much at one time. Posted 3 days ago. burningdownthehouse"you do understand that both have armed members. It says as much in the link, wouldn't 176.000 be a lot less than your 21 million rounds? " Pretty certain I did. I can only assume you've never done any firearm training? I'm not a tea party republican so I just don't see your conspiracy as anything but that, a conspiracy that's been debunked... You still a birther too? Posted 3 days ago. AaronSSorry Skippy, I guess my . wasn't placed. It should have been 2.1 million. Even at that, you've not answered why the social security administration needs ammo. Don't you know scooter? I do. Want me to tell you? Posted 3 days ago. burningdownthehouseBTW 2,112,000 is NOT 21 million rounds.. What in the world is wrong with you? gllllavin !&! Posted 3 days ago. burningdownthehouseDHS was covered by the snopes link as well. You do realize that training and live fire takes a lot of ammunition right? You do also realize that training with your carry ammunition is the best way? How many 357 sig rounds are you or any one else you know shooting? hoarding and greed are why ammunition is scarce, not these nutty conspiracies tired/ithink/arron. WND and the blaze are NOT reliable sources.(which by the way popped right to the top of the search on your 21 million number) Posted 3 days ago. AaronS12*174,000 equals what Skippy. The article I wrote stated that was the purchase but there seems to be some confusion. Seems the request for quote was amended AFTER the blog was posted from monthly to a 1 time purchase. Even at that, why does SSA need to purchase 174,000 rounds? And I can't help but not Scooter that you failed to address the purchase by DHS. Why? Don't you know? Come on Scooter, you can do better than that. Posted 3 days ago. Post a Comment |
