I was in McDonalds this morning and a fire marshall came in wearing a 45. Why in the world does a fire marshall need to carry a gun?

For that matter, why does the SSA need armed personnel? To guard a waiting room? The only attack I can find reference too is a bombing in AZ. Is that justification for the millions spent to arm Social Security personnel?

Why does Homeland Security need 100,000 armed personnel?

If the government wants to reduce the number of guns, shouldn't they start with themselves? If they did, how much money would be saved?

And Tiredofit I am not saying we should overlook dishonesty at all. In fact I believe the government needs to suffer heavy scrutiny. Especially in light of the facts coming out about the DOJ and what they are doing.

To me its starting to look an awful lot like those that support the Constitution are becoming a threat to the establishment.

I mean lets be honest about one fact. There are parties within our nation who would rather there not be a Constitution to hinder their interests. Maybe its just me but it seems like that.

I'm not saying it's a conspiracy theory. I've looked at this objectively and come to the conclusion that while I don't understand why the Social Security Administration needs armed personnel, the purchase seems legitimate.

Homeland Security on the other hand, I'm not so sure. Yes, there is 100,000 armed agents in DHS (again, why?) but that still doesn't justify a purchase of 450 million rounds, which is the minimum number I've found. The kicker for me is the fact that after the request for quote was put out; DHS redacted their information citing national security issues. W T F? Just the request for quote will create speculation and ramp up the prices so even if the gubmint doesn’t purchase they’ve still created the demand and pricing issues. It doesn't take a partisan individual who sees nothing but what they are force fed by the National Party like McScooter to see there's something wrong with that scenario.

Both sides have become so polarized since the anointing of the One that neither is about to change their prospective. Obama could declare himself the Anti-Christ and his followers would still back his policies because of what they perceive he gives them. The other half knows he isn't the Anti-Christ, only an egotistical, community organizer trying to implement Chicago behavior on the entire country.Had the media done their job initially, we would be saying how bad Hillary was doing.

Myth while there is a level of dishonesty in politics in general, that does not mean that we should overlook it when it comes to light. But something to factor into this ammo story is the willingness of the parties affected to entertain just about any conspiracy theory. Then it blows up and all heck breaks loose.

For myself, I don't hate anyone, that's simply a waste of time and energy. My biggest issue with this administration is the total lack of honesty. And if you really buy into the line that Obama is totally unaware of the details of the various scandals his administration are currently facing, I've got a really cool bridge in NYC that I'd be willing to part with for a quite reasonable price.

Back to the topic. We’ve established that the Social Security purchase was valid so I don’t know why you insist on discussing that unless you can explain (McScott explaining, an oxymoron if there ever were one) why SS employees need to be armed.

Also, why do we need ~100,000 armed DHS officials? For a government that desires to oppress our 2nd Amendment rights, they sure are arming a lot of people.
