Let us assume Thomas has always felt the way she does on the topic of Israel/Jewish ppl. She has talked with and questioned the most powerful person in the nation for decades. Isn't that position more important than that of a tv entertainer?

You might compare the total viewership of Beck over the last six months with the total number of eyeballs devoted to watching Helen Thomas during that same period.

Frankly, Mr. Kendall, from your 'retelling' of a story about Helen Thomas, I have no idea what she said or meant to imply when she apparently spoke with Joy Behar, and I am not particularly interested in following some link you posted to find out for myself. Why should I? Helen Thomas isn't much of a story anymore. And, whatever she might have said or meant, I don't think it is likely to be particularly important in any case.

So I doubt you will get any comments on this curious sidelight which is far less than clear (as is usual when you post) but you might...

Well, Helen Thomas is back on the scene again with her thoughts on the Jewish ppl. On Joy Behar, she was asked if she was a anti-semetic..her response: "Hell no...I'm a semite."

Thomas's Lebanese heritage was mentioned, Behar said that she wasn't Jewish...Thomas responded, "What does that mean?...There not semites."
