Who Lied About the Attack on 9/11/12?

It is incredible that democrats keep blathering about Romney lying, when we have the shock and disgust of seeing the president and his administration lying to us about the security of Americans. Unbelievable .

You say that if Obama did wrong then get him out of there but out of the other side of your a** you're talking from, you criticize anyone who wants to look into Benghazi as witch hunters looking to exploit American deaths. You’re not interested in the truth, all you care about is the promoting the issues you have against the right.

If Obama did wrong then get him out of there.

But its just an extension of the same ol game you guys have been playing since day one.

GET THE FERENER!

I work with mostly conservatives. I've seen the monkey jokes etc. I've seen the ignorance and hatred and suspicion first hand.

But back to the shrub. Benghazi is a big issue for the right. Because of those deaths.

But I ask myself if they are going off over this. Over four deaths. But yet way back when we took a really bad hit on 9-11.

Why they didn't call for Bushes head. His administration's failures that allowed it to happen didn't have you guys up in arms calling for him to be impeached.

In fact if anyone did bring that up well he11sbells. You were declared unpatriotic and told to get out!

Freedom Fries anyone?

I'll tell you why I dislike the right so much. But first I gotta say I am indifferent to the left for the most part. But the deal breaker for me is who I feel is threatening my personal freedoms. And it aint the left that worries me.

Its the right with their wanting to foist their religious beliefs on this country into all aspects of our lives. Its their blatant disregard for science. Its their penchant for wanting more war without a care for the costs. Its the incompetence that right leaning companies exhibit in some cases. Like BP,Halliburton etc.

Like right now. I dont doubt one bit that had Romney been elected there would be troops in Syria. Maybe even Iran.

BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT The fact is had this incident happened under Republican leadership there would be no inquiry no witch hunt. It'd all be brushed off.

ANNNNNNNNNNNNNNND. It is extremely telling when FOUR deaths carry more weight than 3000+.

Refusing to acknowledge what. If I am wrong about something I have the guts to admit it.

Which saying three died is something I got wrong.

You act as if I am intentionally and maliciously leaving a person out.

Quite simply my bad.

Now watch the reaction to this post. LOL!

“Lies catch up with the liars sooner or later.”

That’s a surprising statement, since it comes two sentences after the following unproven claim:

“…these cowardly deeds that caused loss of life.”

Who has claimed that “loss of life” resulted from a stand down order? In the Washington Post article Ithink referenced to revive this thread, a Pentagon spokesman, George Little, is quoted as saying,

“We have repeatedly stated that while Department officials started taking action immediately after learning that an attack was underway at the American facility there, our forces were unable to reach it in time to intervene to stop the attacks.”

And Rep. Jason Chaffetz, Republican from Utah, seems to agree with Little He is quoted as telling the Post that “the troops who were not allowed to travel to Benghazi would have arrived after the attack on the CIA base but may have provided first aid to wounded personnel.”

Hum, ithink, was Hillary convicted of a crime? Just exactly what was she attempting to hide?

Posted 534 days ago.

The obama blanket team can't cover up these cowardly deeds that caused loss of life. The dems are having a panic attack. Lies catch up with the liars sooner or later.

Hilary has lots of chickens coming home to roost. But she knows how to hide stuff golng way back to her corrupt Rose Law Firm days.

"Was it or was it not the republican congress who cut funding to security? Yes or No."

How about yes and no?. Republican House, Democratic Senate approved by a Democratic President.

I'm curious, why is it that you and Myth pick and choose your responses to what you want to discuss but ignore numerous valid points?

Ironic that either of you would label someone else a hypocrite!!!

While FY2010 reductions under the Democrat controlled Congress cut the funds 32% for embassy security, construction, and maintenance and you are so concerned with <10% cut made in FY2011. Had the Dems still been in control the cuts could have been much deeper. The State Department still had money to spend and didn't spend it in hot spots where it was needed.

There are certain procedures to be followed when establishing a consulate on foreign soil. And, some of those must satisfy the host country's agenda, not simply what we feel is adequate. That particular site, Benghazi, was not truly a consulate, if my info is accurate. It was more of an outpost, and a 'clandestine' cia position. The level of defensive protections was limited by, I believe, the posture of the cia's mission, in addition to the limits placed by the Libyan government.

Do a search on: "Libya Security Lapse: The Budget for Embassy Security Is Not Responsible" Nothing new about it, the article is dated one month after the incident.

This discussion depresses me.

We aren't talking about how to improve in the future. We aren't discussing whether changes have been made since last September.

This whole sad discussion revolves around who benefits politically instead of what policy choices will best protect Americans abroad.

We're tearing at the throats of our fellow Americans, and our infighting benefits the intractable enemies we have sworn to destroy us.

As Pogo said, "We have met the enemy, and he is us."
