Obama's Green Energy Boondoogle

The Obama administration loaned Calif. Based Solyndra (solar panel maker) $535,000,000 from the U.S. Dept. Of Energy. In the administrations zeal to advance green energy, they conducted little, if any due diligence. They put this project on a "fast track". On August 31, 2011, Solyndra closed the doors, laid off 1,000 workers and declared bankruptcy. There recently has been a wave of solar buckruptcies. The mainstream media has finally picked up on this latest "green energy" boondoggle. Solar energy provides less than 1% of the electricity generated in the U.S. Is the left finally willing to admit "The king is wearing NO clothes?????
