While national media obsesses about such silliness as the current crop of Republican presidential wannabes, are we overlooking the overreaching dictatorial actions of state officials like Kasich, Walker, Snyder, Chris Christie?

While many rightie pundits and bloggers are stuck in their McCarthy-era time warps and obsess about irrelevant topics like "Climategate", Van Jones, ACORN, NBC's omission of "under God" from the pledge at a ballgame, out in the real world of the 50 states, would-be dictators like Kasich in Ohio, Walker in Wisconsin, Snyder in Michigan, etc. are attempting to destroy organized labor, trash the environment, interfere with voting rights, and generally "privatize" everything in sight to the benefit of their rich corporate donors ... Are the rights of Americans REALLY in danger of being taken away - NOT by some imagined "communist" plot - but by unchecked, unregulated, underobserved capitalist greed instead ...
