Power Shortages Now and in the Future

Are the power problems in some western states an indication of troubled times in the future? The Obama Administration's war on coal and oil is already taking its toll on Americans' lives.

And another democrat takes his place !And you can live with your head up your rump if you want but ask any economist and they will tell you we were headed for a depression .

"Thanks to him we arent sitting around in a depression" LOL Are you kidding me? At the time, AMERICA "was too big to fail", ask any of it's creditors AT THAT TIME. If it failed, so would have they.

I'm all ears to hear HOW you think Obama was responsible for saving are economy. NOTE; Allowing the Fed to print up trillions of non-supported Federal Reserve Notes, that will ultimately collapse with inflation, DOES NOT COUNT. That's only delaying the inevitable and making a collapse all the worse.

" and we are slowly getting out of the wars" isn't exactly the song you (as ohwiseone) have been singing for sometime on these threads about how "Obama ended two wars". The enemy has entrenched and redoubled thanks to Field Marshall Obama's brilliant strategic military blundering. He can't even call the enemies by their proper name.

My advice is to save your reminding readers about '8 years under a lying, yada, yada, yada' until January 2017 when Obama

People need to be reminded of what 8 years under a lying republican did to our economy and country . If they just take into account the lies that were used to start Dubyas wars that should be enough to cause one to think twice !

As I said" Hope springs eternal ", some of the more deluded brain dead here already have some poor smuck from the right stepping into the whitehouse ! When you get around to actually having some clue to who it will be let us all know !Since ole conect can do nothing but disparage anything Obama it needs to be a bit more thankful for some of Obamas policies ! Thanks to him we arent sitting around in a depression , and we are slowly getting out of the wars that he had nothing to do with !

Oh, LOOK ! Obama "ended two wars". Rebut your frequent rebuttal example of that one, you broken record.

I truly miss the good old days on these threads when one Marietta resident PROUDLY posted under his real name. He thought that all-things-Obama was manna from Heaven. Then, over time, Obama began to lose his luster and even his chief local sycophant stopped posting under his real name, as I predicted he would many years before.

Now, if the country holds together until January 2017 and Obama actually gracefully leaves office (I have my doubts about that one) with a Republican returning to the WH then, I'm sure old FO will be back with bells on and using his real name again to slander the successor.

I'll be waiting to remind the public and question FO about why the departure of his posted wit and wisdom during the time when Obama revealed his true spots.

Goodnight, FO

Do I need to go back through history and rebut the fact that every president has sent troops in harms way !And theres a chance Obama wouldnt have even had to send troops to these places if your"GOD" Dubya Bush hadnt had to have his wars !

Slinky/ohwiseone,

Obama to leave troops in Afghanistan beyond his presidency.

Obama has Special Ops troops running around Iraq. One was killed in a non-sanctioned battle last week.

Obama sends troops to Cameroon to fight Boko Haram.

Obama now dispatches troops to Syria.

Which "two wars" are you always crowing about Obama ending, Mr. Facts ?

No clamoring just stating the fact that yes , thats your OPINION which ,considering the source , holds true to the old saying . You know the one , opinions are like arseholes , everyone has one !

Didn't hear much from Obama on either gun control OR immigration in the period of 2009-2011, WHEN HIS PARTY HELD MAJORITIES IN BOTH HOUSES OF CONGRESS.

I'd say that indicates that Obama's tactic has been to slide along like an embedded socialist worm in our society, making a total mess out of American foreign policy and, after his "LANDSLIDE" reelection, trying to do the same with our domestic and economic policies. IN MY OPINION, we would have had to have drafted a guy wearing a shirt expressing, "I Despise America" to have trumped Obama's performance to date.

I wonder who Hillary's shirt maker might be?

OHWISEONE - Here's where you can clamor about the sea levels falling, the air being cleaner, two wars "ended" and the rampant success (and cost savings) of ObamaCare. LOL

Again , youre convinced its all Obamas fault ! Funny , but didnt hear a peep when dubya was in charge ! Sorry , Cheney says he was really in charge !

"Lets just arm everyone to the teeth so then we all will be scared to step outside !" ~ MORE OF OHWISEONE'S BS EXEMPLIFIED.

SO - Let's just continue to ignore our immigration laws and let everybody in. Then we'll see who's "scared to step outside". ~ SUPPLEMENTAL TO OHWISEONE"S BS.

We already HAVE ample gun laws that Obama's Justice Dept. refuses to enforce. We already HAVE immigration laws that Obama's Justice Dept. refuses to enforce.

ARE WE SEEING A PATTERN HERE?

respectable as anyone else in my opinion. finally...those that get full refunds due to their low income does not bother me. it's those that do nothing but exist with the notable exception of those that physically or mentally can't function in society.

OWO...the folks that work at McDonalds do indeed pay income taxes. the issue with many is that those that pay zero income taxes actually get money just for existing and having a working reproduction system. should a young-un dodge the forceps and suction tools to exit the gaping birth canal then the proud unemployed mom or dad can look forward to the many goodies that await folks that choose to live their lives that way. the people of all communities invest and fully fund an educational system that provides free food, textbooks, and transportation to and from home free of charge just for them to prepare for their future. poor decisions and wasted opportunities abound in our society. personally i and many others are tired of paying for others poor decisons across the spectrum. i have a great deal of respect for the individual that works any legal job and contributes to our society in a positive way. there is no dishonor in legal and gainful employment. the floor sweeper is as respectab

Random - I heard some Idiots on the media arguing that, since some of the guns used in the Oregon killings were legally purchase, they are then "NRA guns". Apparently if they are stolen or acquired by undocumented means, they are NOT "NRA guns". I've got news for those Diks. There ARE NO "NRA guns".

If there were "NRA guns", they should submit to the claim that their vaunted "undocumented workers" are, in reality, alien invaders or outright criminals, but they'll never do that.

Just some more fun with semantics and how the Liberals don't like a level playing field when it comes to even that.

Regarding the economy and the financial collapse.....in retrospect the safety-net support that the federal government gives the member financial institutions contributed to problem within the banking system. although the bank bailout actually made the treasury money, i would have preferred to see them ride the storm out on their own. the GM bailout was a boom for the employees but cost every taxpayer dearly. we lost almost 50% of our investment in the automaker. many may say...well we made it up by keeping people employed and paying taxes...i can see that...so the question is....how far in debt are we willing to go to keep people in any furture losing industry. would we do the same should the tech market fall apart? who knows...probably. employed?

OWO...you left out Clinton...while the tech boom raised his financial ship, NAFTA was sucking any net gains away. like slow acting poison....before you knew what was going on BAM!!!! but a citizen named Ross Perot stepped up and warned us what was going to happen...and it did.

The country could not have gotten this bad if some of his agenda hadn't passed. Now he is going to rehash more meaningless gun control proposals. After a terrorist loving mixed race idiot killed nine Christian students, Obama, once again, can't call it a hate crime or act of terror. If he weren't so corrupt and fond of lying he might be able to get more done.

Stopping the downward spiral is not sitting idle. How much worse would it have been we will never know. Hopefully a change of president and party will correct the problem.

As the last seven years have shown, change isn't necessarily better. Some of those lies attributed to Fox come from the liberal guests that can't help but lie.
