Samuel Logan Adams, 26, of St. Marys, W.Va., passed away Aug. 16, 2014.
He was born Sept. 29, 1987, in Marietta, Ohio, a son of Richard and Barbara Adams of St. Marys, W.Va.
He was a member of the St. Marys United Methodist Church, and he was a 2006 graduate of St. Marys High School, where he ran track and played soccer. He was active in 4-H and had gone to Mountaineer Boys State. He had attended West Virginia University at Morgantown, W.Va. He enjoyed being with his brother, playing video games and "binge" watching Netflix.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, James Clifford Adams; his maternal grandmother, Clarice Lemasters; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Everett Lue Lemasters; and his paternal grandparents, James Clifford Adams and Ruby Pearl McCoy Adams Lukins.
Services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 21, at the Ingram Funeral Home, St. Marys, W.Va., with Pastor Cindy Eakle officiating. Interment will be in the Paden Memorial Gardens in Paden City, W.Va. Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20, and from 1-2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 21, at the funeral home.
