Maynard E. Reynolds, 77, of Parkersburg, died July 31, 2014, at Heartland Place in Marietta, Ohio.
He was born July 28, 1937, in Ritchie County, a son of the late Raymond Glen and Lora Frances Reynolds.
Maynard was a freelance photographer, worked for the Parkersburg Police Department as a photographer and with WTAP as a cameraman. He was a U.S. Naval Reserve veteran and member of Broadway Nazarene Church. He enjoyed singing with barber shop groups, local choruses and was an original member of the Gospel Music Reunion Choir.
He is survived by his wife, Judith Anne James Reynolds; two daughters, Tammy Lyn Reynolds and Diana Kay Matthews; one son, Michael Adam Reynolds; and nine grandchildren, Justin Andrew, Karly Elizabeth, Braden Connor, Hayden Michael, Kayla Nicole Dotson, Christina Marie Dotson, Cory David Reynolds, Carson Adam Reynolds and Carter Michael Reynolds.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, David Paul Reynolds; and another brother, Rodney Gladen Reynolds.
Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with the Rev. Brady Stephens officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
