Sharon Lockhart Brown went to be with her Lord July 30, 2014.
She was born July 9, 1953, in Parkersburg, daughter of the late Charles Kenny and Alice Louise Anderson Lockhart.
Sharon was a 1972 graduate of Parkersburg High School and a graduate of the University of Phoenix. She was a volunteer with Community Resources. She was a member of the Hillcrest Bible Church in Bethesda, Ohio, and the Salvation Army in Parkersburg.
She is survived by her children, Norman Miller of Parkersburg, Misty Miller (Richard Dillon) of Vienna, W.Va., Robert (Tammy) Miller and Diane (Rex) Hutson, all of Parkersburg; step-children, April Hopkins of Bellaire, Ohio, and Harce Brown III of Brilliant, Ohio; one sister, Phyllis Parker of Parkersburg; two brothers, Charles "Chuck" Lockhart and Perry (Beverley) Lockhart of Parkersburg; her mother-in-law, Florence Brown of Shadyside, Ohio; 24 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harce "Butch" Brown Jr.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St., Parkersburg, with Lt. John Aubrey officiating. Burial will follow at Parkersburg Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be noon-2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, at the funeral home.
