Cindy Lemon Jones, 47, of Vienna, W.Va., was reunited with her Dad July 26, 2014. Her suffering is now over and she is resting in the arms of Jesus.
She was born in Parkersburg Feb. 25, 1967, the daughter of Diana Evans Jackson and the late Dallas R. Evans.
She was a 1985 graduate of Parkersburg South High School and had worked as a phlebotomist in various jobs.
She is survived by her mother, Diana Evans Jackson and her fiance Denzil Haught; her husband, Jim Jones of Point Pleasant, W.Va.; her daughter, Tiffany Lemon; her brother, Robbie Evans (Josie); her sister, Kimberly McClead (Sam); her nephews, Tyler and Coleman Evans; her nieces, Samantha McClead and Cecily Evans; her former husband, Paul R. Lemon II.
She was preceded in death by her father, Dallas R. Evans; her paternal grandparents, Romeo and Alice Hawkins Evans; maternal grandparents, Olandus and Nannie McCoy Smith; a special aunt, Linda K. Knotts; and an uncle, Robert Smith.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Leavitt Funeral Home in Parkersburg with Rev. Brian Arthur officiating. Interment will be in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10 a.m. until service time.
