PARKERSBURG - The Mid-Ohio Valley Junior Golf Association will continue play at 8:30 a.m. today in Elizabeth at Mingo Bottom Golf Club.
Alex Easthom, who could be playing in the 13-15 age bracket but instead has opted to compete in the 16-18 division, currently holds a slight edge in the oldest age group for the summer standings. The Ravenswood freshman-to-be already has a trio of runner-up tournament finishes and will be looking for his third MOVJGA crown today. His 84 points is good for the current overall lead, which is just ahead of Parkersburg South graduate Noah Smith's 79 points.
Garrett Bertram, who will be a senior this year at Marietta High School, is currently in third place with 64 points. Dylan Cress (58) and Mac McCormick (57) round out the current top-five standings for the 16-18 age group.

Kelsey Smith, pictured here preparing to hit a shot at the St. Marys Golf Club, won the Mid-Ohio Valley Junior Golf Association event there last month.
Both the 16-18 and 13-15 divisions play 18 holes at each MOVJGA stop. The 12-and-under golfers compete for nine holes at each tournament.
Logan Clegg is running away with the 13-15 division and has collected 94 points this summer.
Heath Hill is currently in second with 54 points and Chance Shears, who will be playing at his home course today, is in third with 37 points.
After play today, the MOVJGA has a pair of stops next week - Tuesday at South Hills and Wednesday at Woodridge.
Earlier this year, the event at Lakeside was washed out. Although it will be made up, the season-ending tournament will be played at a date to be determined at South Hills instead of at Lakeside.
The overall season champion in the 16-18 age division will receive a $1,000 scholarship and the runner-up will be awarded $500.
Anyone wishing to compete on any of the final stops may do so for a cost of $20.
However, if a golfer has not played in an MOVJGA event yet this season, he must also pay a one-time $20 initial fee.
