Lillian "Bunnie" Hammer, 82, passed away Sunday, July 20, 2014, at her residence.
She was born July 7, 1932, at Slate, W.Va., a daughter of the late Fredrick J. and Gladys Reynolds Sims Boyd Armel.
Lillian worked at Willows Nursing Home and enjoyed flowers and doll collecting.
She is survived by two aunts, Florida Sholes and Dolly Patterson of Parkersburg; a niece, Rozala Currey; a nephew, Kerby Holmes; other nieces and nephews; and good friends, Dale and Janice Kuhn, and Marie Sealey. In addition to her parents, Lillian was preceded in death by her only daughter, Sheryl J. Church; her brother, Raymond J. Sims; a sister, Ula M. Holmes; first husband, Ivan C. Church; her second husband, Herman D. Lott; her third husband and loving companion of 22 years, Edward J. Hammer; and her beloved poodle, Peppi Hammer.
Services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 23, at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 1305 Washington Blvd., Belpre, Ohio, with Pastor Janice Kuhn presiding. Visitation will be 12 Noon, Wednesday, July 23, until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Evergreen South Cemetery.
