Enid F. Guice, 89, of Chesapeake,Va., formerly of Parkersburg, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2014, at Sentara Hospice House in Virginia Beach.
She was born in Parkersburg on Nov. 16, 1924, the only daughter of Gilbert Dotson and Gladys Adams Johnson.
Enid worked many years in the office of Dr. Lyle Vincent and, prior to that, she was a manager of Kelly Services in Parkersburg.
She was a member of the First Lutheran Church on 19th Street, where she loved singing in the choir, her Bible circle and volunteering. She was also a member of Lambda Chi Omega Sorority. She was an avid sports enthusiast and loved to cheer on her Big Reds and WVU Mountaineers.
She is survived by her children, Nick (Elaine) Guice of Parkersburg, Bree Ann Radabaugh of Bristow, Va., Cassie (Roger) Schalge of Chesapeake, Va., Bill (Lisa) Guice of Parkersburg and Bob (Terry) Guice of Charleston, S.C.; grandchildren, Michelle, Amy, Andrea, Vince, Billy, Brian, Ed, Dotson, Dylan, Dustin, Derek, Nicole, Derek and Risa; along with 15 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bill Guice.
Arrangements are incomplete but a memorial service will be held at First Lutheran Church in the future.
