An Ohio State Trooper on Ohio 7 Sunday redirects traffic to a side road after Ohio 7 was closed down because of a fire.
The road was closed around noon and remained closed as firefighters from six fire departments fought the blaze which destroyed three buildings, including the office, at the GreenLeaf facility.
The sheriff's department reported the fire was not a threat to the waterway or to those on the river banks at the Marietta Riverfront Roar. The smoke plume may cause difficulty breathing for nearby residents, but is not known to contain chemicals of any type, the department said.
