Marjorie Willey James, 73, of Parkersburg, passed away July 10, 2014, at the Worthington Manor Nursing Center.
She was born Dec. 25, 1940, in Ravenswood, in Jackson County, a daughter of the late Hugh McGrew and Hazel Barnhart McGrew Grady.
Marjorie was of the Baptist Faith and was a devoted mother and homemaker.
Survivors include her daughter, Paula Lynn Willey; her step-son, Barry Willey of Parkersburg; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Paul (Linda) McGrew of Parkersburg, and Earl Folden of Ripley; two sisters, Helen Westbrook of Parkersburg, and Edna (Ed) Laughery of Sandusky, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred C. Willey; and three brothers and one sister.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 12, at The Kimes Funeral Home, 521 5th Street, Parkersburg, her nephew, Bob Carr will be speaking. Burial will follow at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. today, and an hour prior to the service on Saturday, July 12, at the funeral home.
