Terry W. Dowler, 66, of Belpre, died July 1, 2014, at Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus.
He was born Jan. 6, 1948, in Parkersburg, a son of Lloyd and Eloise (Gates) Dowler.
Terry was a U.S. Navy veteran and a Purple Heart recipient from the Viet-Nam war. He was a member of Walnut Street Church of Christ. He enjoyed working on computers and spending time with his family, who he loved very much.
He is survived by his wife, Lillian Dowler; one son, Terry M. Dowler (Tiffany) of Vincent; one granddaughter, Ryley Dowler; his mother, Eloise Dowler; three sisters, Dianna Ellison (Joe) of Greenville, W.Va., Janice Green of Belpre and Donna White of Belpre; and one brother, Gary Dowler (Terri) of Belpre.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Dowler; and one brother, David Dowler.
Memorial contributions may be made in Terry's name to the American Heart Association.
The funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday at Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre, with Don Seevers and Mike Robinson officiating. Burial will follow the service at Evergreen Cemetery in Belpre. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
