Max L. Bullman

Max L. Bullman, 82, St. Marys, husband of Barbara Irvin Bullman for 56 years, passed away Sunday, June 29, 2014, at Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus.

Born on March 5, 1932, in Pleasants County, W.Va., he was a son of the late P.F. and Alice Freeland Bullman.

He was a 1951 St. Marys High School graduate, where he was a member of the 1948 football team that was undefeated. Max was a U.S. Navy Veteran and worked for Bullman Plumbing and Appliances and American Cyanamid as an Electrician. He was a Methodist and member of the IOOF, the American Legion and O.C.A.W.

Survivors other than his wife include two sons, Ed (Sandra) Bullman and Tim (Stephanie) Bullman; four grandchildren, Colin, Ian, Alex and Victoria; one great-grandchild, Luna; one brother, William B. Bullman; and one sister, Donna (William) Johnson. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Nick.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 2, at Ingram Funeral Home, with Pastors Dave Kelly and Cindy Eakle officiating. Burial will follow in the IOOF Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
