PARKERSBURG - Tickets for the Rubber Ducky drawing went on sale Monday at locations throughout the area as a fundraiser for the Parkersburg Homecoming Festival, set for Aug. 15-17 in downtown Parkersburg.
The first Rubber Ducky ticket drawn will pay $5,000 in cash. Other cash prizes are second ticket drawn wins $1,500, third wins $500, fourth wins $250, fifth wins $125, and sixth through tenth wins $100 each.
All proceeds benefit the Parkersburg Homecoming Festival. This is the 25th annual Homecoming Rubber Ducky event since the Homecoming began in 1983.

Tickets for $5 each or five for $20 can be purchased at Superior Toyota-Hyundai, Foodland stores, United Bank, BB&T and Pifer's BP Service Center.
Superior Toyota-Hyundai is sponsoring the Rubber Ducky drawing.
Rubber Ducky tickets will be drawn at 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 17 at the Suddenlink main stage.
The Homecoming committee hopes to sell at least 4,000 Rubber Ducky tickets. Last year, around 3,000 tickets were sold.
The Rubber Ducky drawing is the largest fundraiser held to support the Parkersburg Homecoming Festival.
Featured performers at Homecoming will be Restless Heart, Almost Queen: A Tribute to Queen and The Guess Who.
