Larry Delbert Cottrille, 67, of Kites Run Community, Walker, W.Va., passed away June 13, 2014, at Camden Clark Medical Center, St. Joseph's Campus.
He was born Jan. 5, 1947, in Parkersburg, a son of the late Glenn and Kathryn Winans Cottrille.
Larry was retired from Belpre Drywall and was a self-employed contractor. He loved fishing and enjoyed NASCAR racing. He was a strong, caring, loving person.
He is survived by two daughters, Stephanie (Ronald) Hornbeck and Brandi Parker, both of Parkersburg; his fiancee, Hope Lanning of Walker; three sisters, Jerry Whitlatch of Dallison, W.Va., Kitty Thomas of Busch, La., and Toni Holpp of Parkersburg; one brother, Lyndall (Charlotte) Cottrille of Parkersburg; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, John "Pete" Copen; and his favorite pets, Dog and Sadie.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike Street, south Parkersburg, with Pastor Mike Lamb officiating. Interment will follow at Herndon Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
