MARIETTA - Marietta Marketplace, a mobile curated outdoor flea market, will hold its inaugural event from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. June 21 in downtown Marietta.
Vendors will sell art, handcrafts, vintage goods and food.
"Our goal is to help promote Marietta as a destination Main Street city while providing a venue for small businesses, artists and vendors to showcase their products," organizer Laura Pytlik said. "Similar events, such as the City Flea in Cincinnati, have grown in popularity and add an exciting shopping experience to urban areas."

The marketplace will be held on the armory lawn on Front Street.
Vendors from Pittsburgh, Athens, Beverly, Kimbolton and the Marietta area will be available. A raffle for $100 in Marietta Bucks and a 50-50 raffle, both of which will benefit local charities, will be held.
