Regina May Morrison, 74, of Pennsboro, W.Va., Highland Community, departed this life on Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at Marietta Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Regina was born Nov. 14, 1939, in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Clarence E. and Kathleen I. "Midge" Snodgrass.
She spent her life as a loving homemaker for her family. She was a graduate of Pennsboro High School with the class of 1957 and was a member of Fresh Start Ministries Church of West Union, W.Va., where she served as the director of the food bank. She was very active with the band boosters for the former Pennsboro High School, and greatly enjoyed reading, camping, cooking, playing Bingo, quilting and her dogs. Regina enjoyed spending every minute with her family up to the time of her passing.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Robert "Bob" Morrison; children, Pastor Roger Morrison (Patty) of Parkersburg, and Teresa Wright (Ronnie) of Pennsboro, W.Va.; grandchildren, Melissa Luther (James) and Tristian Wright; great-grandchildren, Austin, Brianna and Colton Luther and Garrett and Paxton Long; sisters, Linda Williamson (Kenny) of Pennsboro and Sharon Snodgrass of Florida; brother, Ricky Snodgrass of Marietta, Ohio; along with several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Gerald Snodgrass; and her aunt and uncle who raised her, Wayne and Margarete Ball.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, June 16, 2014, at the McCullough-Rogers Funeral Home, Pennsboro, with her son, Pastor Roger Morrison, officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Harmony Masonic Cemetery, Pennsboro. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday, June 15, at the funeral home.
