Edwin Eugene "Ed" Green, 83, of Parkersburg, died June 5, 2014, at Camden Clark Medical Center, St. Joseph's Campus.
He was born July 9, 1930, in Rockhill, S.C., to the late Charles and Edith (Looney) Green.
Edwin worked as a dental ceramist and owned his own dental laboratory. He was very active in his church at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for over 40 years. He enjoyed making jewelry, restoring homes, traveling, and he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Joyce Maxine Green; three sons, Frederick Dane Green of Cleveland, Ohio, Edwin Brian Green (Elizabeth) of Marietta, Ohio, and Hal Ephraim Green (Jill) of Phoenix, Ariz.; one daughter, Shelly Maxine Pottenger of Parkersburg; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one brother, Curtis H. Green (Betty) of York, S.C.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth and Marion Green.
The funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesay at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with Bishop Richard Gray officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service on Wednesday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the funeral home.
