Gordon Dale "Bunk" Goudy passed away at the age of 75 on June 3, 2014 after a long illness.
He is survived by Patricia, his loving wife of 54 years, as well as his sons Troy and Tony and grandchildren Stephanie, Gabe, Emily, and Dalton. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bessie and Adam Goudy, and his siblings, Howard, Mildred, Pete, Don, Grace, and Peggy. He had 25 nieces and nephews and was devoted to his dog Sally.
Bunk had been a long-time member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, where he was an usher and active in the KOCO ministry. He was employed by Borg-Warner Chemicals for 23 years, where he was the Manager of Transportation and Logistics for North American Operations. He had also been the Plant Manager for Plastic Masters and had worked in sales for Marietta Industrial Enterprises.
Bunk was an avid golfer and life-long Mountaineer fan. He has donated his body to WVU Medical School and asked that there be no formal funeral services. It is requested that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Parkersburg Humane Society. A memorial at St. Paul's is being planned.
