Gertrude F. Kleinedler, 98, of Cedar Grove Personal Care, died June 3, 2014, at Camden Clark Medical Center.
She was born May 20, 1916, in Chicago, Ill., daughter of the late Hannah and Martin Fladoos.
She worked as a stenographer and bookkeeper to Curtis' Candy Co., Mars Candy Co., and Douglas Aircraft Co. Ms. Kleinedler and her husband, Irvin, owned and operated Par Mar Pines Golf Club of Waverly, W.Va., for approximately 16 years until the mid 70's.
Surviving is her son, Court Kleinedler of North Port, Fla.; two grandsons, Kyle Kleinedler of West Lake, Ohio, and Ken Kleinedler of Bradenton, Fla.; one brother, Arnold Fladoos of Rancho Mirage, Calif.; and one sister, Edna Peterson of Minnesota. She was preceded in death by her husband, Irvin; three brothers, William Arthur Fladoos, Ed Fladoos Sr. and Norman Fladoos; and three sisters, Myrtle Sawiak, Norma Nielsen and Edna Natzke.
Ms. Kleinedler was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 3500 Broad Street, Parkersburg.
Private services will be held from 4-5 p.m. today at Hadley Funeral Home in Marietta, Ohio, followed by cremation.
