Shirley A. Frame, 79, of Elizabeth, W.Va., passed away June 3, 2014, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born July 13, 1934, in Wood County, the daughter of the late Wilbur and Margaret (Clark) Longsworth.
She was a 1952 graduate of Parkersburg High School, a member of the Elizabeth United Methodist Church, Elizabeth Women's Club and The Elizabeth Eastern Stars # 113. She worked for several years at Walker of Parkersburg and retired from WesBanco Bank, Elizabeth, W.Va., after 19 years of service. She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her four children, Pamela (Mike) Brown of Brandon, Fla., Prudence "Prudy" Crouser of Parkersburg, William E. Crouser of Stephens City, Va., and Tom (Susan) Crouser of Elizabeth, W.Va.; eight grandchildren, Jason Brown, Bill Crouser, Megan Casely, Brian Crouser, Chad Crouser, Brad Crouser, Allyson Crouser and Zach Garrett; three great-grandchildren, Brianna Brown, Bailey Crouser and Aidan Vivas; one sister, Susie (Don) Ankrom of Rockport, W.Va.; four step-children, Neshia Ruble of Princeton, W.Va., Anita (Danny) Lott of MacFarland, W.Va., Eugene P. "Butch" (Brenda) Frame Jr. of Lake Havasu, Ariz., and Tamara (Steve) Lucas of Tuppers Plains, Ohio; seven step-grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren; two step-great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved grand dog, "Gambit." She was preceded in death by both her parents; husband, Eugene "Paul" Frame in 2005; one step-grandson; one step-great-grandson; one step-daughter; and three sisters-in-laws, Doris Hoskinson, Oakelene Kidd and Anges Lacko.
Services will be 1 p.m. Friday, June 6, at Matheny Whited Funeral Home of Elizabeth, W.Va., with the Rev. Lee William officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, June 5. Interment will be at K of P Cemetery of Elizabeth, W.Va.
