Zandra G. Holleron, 67, of Mineral Wells, passed away April 25, 2014, at Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus.
She was born at Hanover, W.Va., the daughter of the late Woodrow "Woody" and Lois England Lester.
She was a 1964 graduate of Baileysville High School in Wyoming County. She had retired from O'Ames Company after 24 years of service. She enjoyed playing tennis and was a member of Greenmont Raquet Club. She enjoyed quilting, hook rugs, collecting restaurant ware that was green and white, especially Ravenswood Ware, antique hunting, yard sales, traveling and the ocean. Zandra had a wonderful attitude her whole life and was known for saying " No matter what, it will be ok." She was a longtime member of Camden Avenue Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Ron Holleron of Mineral Wells, W.Va.; her children, Todd Holleron and wife, Heather, of Musselburgh, Scotland, and Jody Fitcher and husband, Jeff, of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; her grandchildren, Brad Holleron, Ashton Holleron, Amber Holleron, Jasmine Fitcher and Jackson Fitcher; her sister, Claudine McCrady and husband, John, of Mineral Wells; her brothers, Don Lee Lester and wife, Debbie, Toney Lester and wife, Roma, and Dale Lester and wife, Christine, all of Yeager, W.Va.; her sister-in-law, Sharon Dowler Lester of Parkersburg; and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Clinton "Junior" Lester.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Camden Avenue Church of Christ, with Evangelist Dana Slingluff officiating. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Leavitt Funeral Home in Parkersburg, and one hour prior to the service at the church.
