Brian Howard Keith, 49, of Morgantown, passed away April 18, 2014, at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, Md.
He was born March 2, 1965, in Parkersburg, the son of Betty Ann Hudkins Doan of Parkersburg and the late Billy Joe Keith.
Brian was employed as a sales rep for Austin Powder, an avid golfer, and enjoyed WVU football and basketball.
In addition to his mother, Brian is survived by his wife, Michelle Sherman Keith; a daughter, Hayden Nicole Keith; his stepfather, Randy Doan; mother and father-in-law, Evelyn and Henry Sherman of Pensacola, Fla.; brother-in-law, Chuck Sherman of Fresno, Calif.; a sister-in-law, Susan Keith and her two daughters, A.J. and Morgan Keith of Irongate, Va.; and a stepbrother, Randy Doan of Vincent, Ohio. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles and cousins.
In addition to his father, Brian was preceded in death by a brother, Mark A. Keith.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. until the time of services at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home, with Pastor Sherman Goodwin and Chaplain Ed Horvat officiating. In honoring Brian's wishes, cremation will follow the service with burial being at a later date in Parkersburg.
The family requests that flowers be omitted and donations in Brian's memory be made to a charity of their choice. They also would like to extend their appreciation to the physicians and nursing staff at Johns Hopkins (PCCU and CVSICU) and Mon General Hospital.
