Heaven called and Bethel (Webb) Baker, 98, of Auburn, W.Va., answered on April 9, 2014, at the home of her daughter in Williamstown.
She was born April 16, 1915, in Roane County, a daughter of the late Rev. George Anderson and Orbie (Bissell) Webb. She was a homemaker and a member of the Auburn Methodist Church and later attended Berea United Methodist Church until her passing.
Surviving include one daughter Lou (Ron) Haught of Williamstown; daughter-in-law Pam Baker of Charleston; one sister, Stacial Sinnett of Parkersburg; five grandchildren, Rick (April) Haught, Ryan (Tammy) Haught, David (Tessa) Baker, Clint (Dana) Baker, Belinda (Kenny) Conrad; two step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paige, in 1978; infant son Gary in 1956; son David in 2006; two sisters, Lucy Ashley and Gladys Spencer; and two brothers, Olen and Rufus (Bud) Webb.
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Saturday at Raiguel Funeral Home, Harrisville. Burial will follow in the Auburn Community Cemetery. Friends may call from 1-3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent to the family at McCulloughRaiguel.com
