‘Chuck’ T. Dailey

Charles T. "Chuck" Dailey, 71, of Vienna, passed away April 4, 2014, at Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus.

He was born in Parkersburg on April 12, 1942, a son of the late Howard C. and Beatrice "Bee" Shriner Dailey.

"Chuck" proudly served his country in the Marines during Vietnam, and was awarded numerous medals. He was a member of DAV Chapter 32, Vietnam Vets of America, the VFW and 19th Street Church of God.

Surviving "Chuck" are his wife, Barbara J. Dailey; five daughters, Tammy Measimer of Richfield, N.C., Barbara Carter of Statesville, N.C., Jennifer Dailey of Cleveland, Tenn., Wendy Rensi of Cadiz, Ohio, and Tonya Baxley of Muncie, Ind.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three brothers, Fred Leasure, Wood County, Gail (Tuck) Doss Jr. of Vienna and Howard C. Dailey II of Rural Hall, N.C.; five sisters, JoAnn Casto of Parkersburg, Alice Carrel of Texas, Debbie Resser of Parkersburg, Sue Odenwelder of Charleston, S.C., and Maejean Cox of Mineral Wells; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, "Chuck" was preceded in death by one brother, Jerry C. Dailey.

The funeral will be 1 p.m. Monday with Pastor Jimmie Cox officiating. Burial will be at Rockland Cemetery in Belpre, with full military rites by American Legion Post 15. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. today, and for one hour prior to the service Monday.
