Nathan Clark Baker, 46, of Ellenboro, W.Va., departed this life on April 2, 2014, at his residence.
He was born on Feb. 11, 1968, in Marietta, Ohio, a son of the late Olin Baker and June Hall Baker of Ellenboro, W.Va.
He worked for the Merrick Co. of Clarksburg, W.Va. He was a graduate of Ritchie County High School and attended West Virginia Institute of Technology, and then graduated from West Virginia University, Parkersburg. He enjoyed all outdoor activities, worked on the development of software and had researched and edited computer language text books for colleges and universities.
Nathan is survived by his mother, June Hall Baker, Ellenboro, W.Va.; brothers, Daniel L. Baker, Ellenboro, and Timothy W. Baker, Vienna; sister, Angel J. Baker, Vienna, W.Va.; and niece, Leah L. Baker, Vienna. He was preceded in death by his father, Olin Denzil Baker.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at the McCullough Funeral Home, Pennsboro, on Sunday, April 6, from 2-4 p.m.
