Twila Effie "Jiggs" Hanlin, 90, left this life on March 28, 2014, at Love and Care Assisted Living Facility, Parkersburg.
She was born July 14, 1923, in Bens Run, W.Va., the daughter of the late Joseph N. and Florence P. Haught Summers.
She was a member of Dewey Avenue Church of Christ. She was a homemaker and wife of the late Evangelist Ralph H. Hanlin.
Surviving are her granddaughters, Debra Batton of Parkersburg and Lyn Miller of New Martinsville, W.Va.; great-grandson, Matthew (Tiffany) Johnson of St. Marys; great-granddaughters, Pamela Johnson of Parkersburg and Lyndsay (Joe) Rickman and Krysten Miller, both of New Martinsville, W.Va.; great-great-granddaughter, Michaela Johnson; great-great-grandson, Aydan Maluski; one sister, Betty Campbell of Arvilla in Pleasants County, W.Va.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Hanlin; brothers, Orie Summers, Charles Summers and William Summers; and sisters, Mary Weekly, Jessie Kriston, Zelma Groves, June Potts and Violet Cline.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. today at Ingram Funeral Home, St. Marys, W.Va., with Evangelists Charles Pugh III and Dan Kessinger officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Sistersville, W.Va. Friends may call from 10-11 a.m. today at the funeral home.
