Clyde E. Cokeley Jr., 77, former resident of Marietta, passed away March 19, 2014, at the Ohio Veterans Home, Sandusky, Ohio.
He was born Sept. 3, 1936, to Clyde E. Cokeley Sr. and Ethel McClure Cokeley.
Clyde was an Air Force veteran serving during the Korean War and a member of several veterans organizations.
He is survived by one son and one daughter, Clyde E. Cokeley III and wife, Cheryl, of Gibson City, Ill., and Christy Unzicker and husband, Ryan, of Stoughton, Wis.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Gene M. Cokeley and wife, Sandra; brother-in-law, Don Farson all of Waverly, W.Va.; two nieces; and two nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Lois Farson.
Friends may call 1-2 p.m. Monday at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home, Marietta. Graveside services will follow at 3 p.m. at Willow Island Cemetery, with the Rev. Chuck Ferrell officiating and with full military honors.
