Chet Richendollar, 72, of Parkersburg, passed away Feb. 28, 2014, at St. Marys Hospital in Huntington, W.Va.

He was born in Hanging Rock, Ohio, the son of the late Leroy and Mary Ellen Brown Richendollar.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran and had retired from Ravenswood Aluminum-Constellium Company after many years of service. He enjoyed playing the guitar and traveling with his motor home as well as spending time with his family. He was a member of Gihon United Methodist Church and enjoyed playing the guitar during services.

He is survived by his wife, Rita Lynn Bond Richendollar of Parkersburg; his daughter, Lea Ann Lee (Mike) of Marietta, Ohio; his grandchildren, Chelcee, Tarrin and Coty Lee of Marietta; his sister, Roma Lee Brammer of South Point, Ohio; his nephews, Lance Brammer of South Point, Ohio, and Lowell Blevins (Linda) of Ashland, Ky; his aunt, Jean Howell of Ironton, Ohio; his mother-in-law, JoAnn Bond of Vienna, W.Va.; and his brother-in-law, John Jack of Vienna, W.Va.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Donna Blevins; his nephews, Gregory Brammer and Steve Blevins; and his sister-in-law, Carolyn Jack.

Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Riverview Cemetery at Williamstown, with the Rev. Jim Eakle officiating. There wil be full military graveside rites by Parkersburg American Legion Post 15.
