Pamela Sue Traylor Damis, 58, of Coolville, Ohio, formerly of Davisville, W.Va., passed away Sunday, Feb. 24, 2014, following a long illness.
She was born Aug. 3, 1955, in Lexington, Ky., daughter of the late Herbert Jack Traylor and Ruby Sebastian Kinney of Vincent, Ohio. She was retired from The Bureau of Public Debt after 30 years of service.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her son, Greggory Alan Damis of Davisville, W.Va.; two sisters, Cathy Bennett (James) of Fleming, Ohio, and Jackie Spence (Michael) of Belpre, Ohio; two brothers, David Traylor (Debbie) of West Union, Ohio, and Chris Brundige (Kate) of Dover, Ohio; three grandchildren, Donovan Damis, and Cameron Fields and Shae Flelds; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Ralph Kinney; and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 27, at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 1305 Washington Boulevard, Belpre, Ohio. Interment will follow at the Evergreen South Cemetery in Parkersburg. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26, at the funeral home.
