Pauline ‘Polly’ Coppack

Pauline "Polly" Coppack, 80, of Ormond Beach, Fla., died Feb. 14, 2014, at the Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House.

Mrs. Coppack was born Oct. 1, 1933, in Sandbach, England, a daughter of Edmund and Barbara Johnson Scragg.

She married Roland Coppack in 1954, and soon after, immigrated to the United States. Roland worked as a sales executive for Borg Warner Chemicals. At various times in her life, Pauline worked in the computer and software industry. She was a talented interior decorator and an extraordinary knitter. Her family enjoyed receiving many beautifully made hand-knit gifts. Pauline worked as a volunteer for several organizations when she wasn't as busy with her role of the wife of an international sales executive. At times, she was a library and museum aid. She also worked to feed the hungry. She was a sweet, cheerful person, who was loved by many people and will be dearly missed.

Polly is survived by two daughters, Joanne Dumler of Texas, and Susan Decker of New Jersey; and four grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roland.

Arrangements are in the trust and care of the Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, in Flagler Beach.
