Nancy Marie Wilson Rouse Ross died after an extended illness, Feb. 8, 2014, at the Muskingum Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation in Beverly, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by husbands, Donald Rouse and Herman Ross. Nancy was born Dec. 12, 1923, in Wood County, W.Va.; and the last surviving sibling of eight children to the late E. O. Wilson, Sr. and Nancy Piersol Wilson.
She is survived by her sons, Richard of Cleveland, N.C., Robert of Portland, Ore., and Timothy of Charles Town, W.Va.; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husbands, she was preceded in death by a sister, Alzana Wilson Breneman; and six brothers, Edgar, Harold, Gilbert, Denver, Dale and Raymond Wilson.
Services will be held Friday, Feb. 14, at 11 a.m., at the Seventh Street United Methodist Church in Parkersburg, with Pastor Kathryn Ambler officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Parkersburg. Friends may call from 10-11 a.m. Friday at the church.
