February 5, 2014
Parkersburg News and Sentinel

Baby Baine Marshall Stunkard left his earthly home on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va. When the angels came to meet him, he was in the arms of his mommy and daddy. Baby Baine was born 15 weeks premature on Dec. 26, 2013, the infant son of Clayton Stunkard and Brooklon Kelley of Pennsboro, W.Va.

We held his perfect little body and kissed his beautiful face. We smiled as his eyes looked back at us and his tiny fingers grasped ours. His sweetness filled our hearts to the brim and it will remain there forever. His battle was courageous and he fought like a true warrior. Our love for him is endless and we will remember him with love and pride everyday for the rest of our lives. God gave us the greatest gift of all when he blessed us with our precious little boy. We love you sweet baby Baine.

In addition to his mommy and daddy, he is survived by his maternal grandparents, Wendell and Angie Cox of Harrisville, and Todd Smith of Parkersburg; maternal great-grandparents, Ann Richards of Smithville, Mary Ball of Parkersburg, and Gary and Tina Richards of Pullman, W.Va.; maternal great-great-grandmother, Fredia Richards of Pullman, W.Va.; paternal grandparents, Robert and Vickie Stunkard of Ellenboro, W.Va.; paternal great-grandparents, Donald and Nancy Vedner of Sevierville, Tenn., David and Joyce Bryant of Kissimmee, Fla., and Betty Stunkard of Kissimmee, Fla.; aunts, Cassie Akers and Kaylyn Cox of Harrisville, and Dana and Daniel Rubenstein of Kissimmee, Fla.; uncles, Kyle and Kaleb Stunkard of Kissimmee, Fla.; great aunt, Shannon Richards Fetters of Maryland; great uncles, Andrew Richards of Pullman, Danny Ball of Parkersburg, and Mike Ball of Arnoldsburg, W.Va.; great-grandfather, Samuel Cox of Harrisville; special great-great-great aunt, Laurabel Ayers of Smithville, W.Va.; and many other close family members. He is preceded in death by his maternal great-great-grandfather, Bernard Richards; and paternal great-grandfather, Bill Stunkard.
