PARKERSBURG - The award winning and critically acclaimed Imago Theatre production "FROGZ!" will be presented 7 p.m. Thursday in the College Activities Center at West Virginia University at Parkersburg as part of the Distinguished Performance Series.
The show is recommended for families and children ages 4 and older.
A fantastical show of mask- and prop-style acrobatics, its illusion and puppetry has received worldwide acclaim for decades. It has also earned rave reviews from The Boston Globe that called it a "rare theatrical event."

Tickets at the door are $10 for adults and $5 for students and children. WVU-Parkersburg students can purchase special advance tickets for themselves and one guest for $2.
Tickets are available from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.in the college business office or by calling 304-424-8223. All tickets at the door will be regular price.
"FROGZ!" offers a comedic menagerie of characters, amphibians, acrobatic larvae and musical windbags of simplicity and charm the whole family can enjoy. The production brings objects to life on stage and displays the imaginative power of theater through a combination of styles, personification and the illusion of magic.
Imago Theatre's original productions have toured internationally for more than two decades. Imago's signature works have had three Broadway runs at the acclaimed New Victory Theater in New York in 2000, 2002 and 2010.
Imago has won audience and critical acclaim in tours across Asia, Europe, Canada and the U.S.
The company was awarded the New York Dance Film Award and Best Touring Production by Independent Reviewers of New England. Imago has been hailed by critics worldwide for its range of original work.
The "FROGZ!" national tour is financed by grants from the Regional Arts and Culture Council and the Collins Foundation.
