Anna May Bunner Bennett, 78, Maidsville, W.Va., formerly of St. Marys, W.Va., widow of Leonard W. Bennett, passed away Monday, Jan. 20, 2014.

Born on March 10, 1935, in Pleasants County, W.Va., she was a daughter of the late Alva W. and Oma Moore Bunner.

She was retired from the former Colin Anderson Center, and a member of Mt. Nebo Church of Christ.

She is survived by four children, Beverly (Elmo) Wiles, Morgantown, Mike (Darlene Scott) Bennett, St. Marys, W.Va., Carol (Clive Harvey) Munday, Maidsville, W.Va., and Debbie (Joe) Strum, Cambridge, Ohio; grandchildren, Jeremy and Jacob Wiles, Gary (Kristen) Scott, Heather (Bobby) Warner, Michael and Jennifer Southerly, Paul Southerly, Jr., Alex Strum, Amber and David Yoder, Esther (Rueben Miller) Strum, Emily (Dannie) Miller and Daniel Strum; 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; three sisters, Thelma Kimball, Erma McDole and Zana Meeks; one brother, Roger Bunner; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Wanita Bailey and Hazel McQuillian; one brother, Alva Bunner, Jr.; and a grandson, Steven Southerly.

Services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24, at the Ingram Funeral Home, St. Marys, W.Va. Interment will be in the Bethel Cemetery. Friends may call 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, and noon-1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
