Carole Jean Calloway Kincaid, of Land O'Lakes, Fla., departed this life Jan. 11, 2014, at her daughter's home with her loving family by her side.
She was born Oct. 11, 1942, in Williamson, W.Va., a daughter of the late Jack and Eleanor Calloway.
She was a graduating member of Parkersburg High School Class of 1960. She worked at St. Joseph's Hospital for 23 years as an Administrative Secretary. She was a competitor at heart. She loved reading, bowling, golf, tennis, watching sports, BINGO and playing games with her family.
She is survived by her children, Kelly Kincaid Bazzi of Land O'Lakes, Fla., John Kincaid (Aimee) of Fairlawn, Ohio, Diana Kincaid Oliver (Jim) of Parkersburg, W.Va., and Matthew Kincaid of Land O'Lakes, Fla.; her grandchildren, Rachael Hardesty of Marietta, Ohio, Christopher Oliver of Kuwait City, Kuwait, Kelsey Kincaid of Columbia, S.C., Briana Hardesty of Parkersburg, Kyle Kincaid of Fairlawn, Ohio, and Emily Hardesty of Parkersburg; her sister, Ava Stout (Bob) of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; and several feline companions.
Memorial services will be 2-4 p.m. today at Blount & Curry, 3207 West Bears Ave., Tampa, Fla.
The family requests contributions be made to Pasco County SPCA or the American Cancer Society.
