PARKERSBURG - A pair of boil-water advisories were issued Saturday, one in Wood County and the other in Ritchie County.
Union Williams Public Service District near Waverly issued a boil advisory on Saturday for the entire Union Williams system following a line break repair which occurred at North Dry Run to Deerwalk Highway.
Conditions indicated there was a high probability that water was contaminated, according to the advisory. Testing had not yet occurred to confirm or deny contamination.
Waster customers are urged to bring water to a boil, let it boil for a minute and then cool before using in cooking, drinking, washing dishes, bathing and other uses.

In another advisory, the city of Pennsboro issued a boil water advisory Saturday at 2 p.m. following a line break on Collins Avenue in Pennsboro. Those experiencing very low water pressure lasting 15 minutes or more or cloudy or dirty water that will not clear up are advised to boil their water.
