Lois Cox Huff, 82, of St. Marys, W.Va., passed away Dec. 22, 2013, at Carehaven of Pleasants in Belmont, W.Va.
She was born Jan. 22, 1931, in Wooster, Ohio, a daughter of the late Omi and Dorothy Adams Cox.
She was retired from the former Colin Anderson Center in St. Marys, W.Va., and she was a Baptist by faith. The family would like to thank the nursing staff at Carehaven for Lois's care.
She is survived by a daughter, Jodi (Alan) Nutter of Parkersburg; three grandchildren, Jessop Wharton, Jenna Shaver and Josiah Whisnant; two sisters, Doris Cox (Tom) Bleakley of Newport, Ohio, and Donna Cox Stewart of Marietta, Ohio; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred "Bud" Huff; two brothers, Eddie Cox and John Russell Cox; and a brother-in-law, Garry Stewart.
Services will be held Friday, Dec. 27, at 11 a.m., at the Ingram Funeral Home, St. Marys, W.Va., with John Keith officiating. Interment will be in the Maple Lane Masonic Cemetery, Hebron, W.Va. Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, and from 10-11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
