We understand loyalty to a political party. It is time to set aside loyalty to one's party and face reality. "Die-hard Obama supporters" will likely never accept the fact this president has done great wrong and endeavors to do greater wrong.
Speaking of Obama, former President Clinton recently said President Obama should honor his commitment to the country. It surely sounded as if he were chastising Obama, stopping short of saying, "Barack, you lied to your country."
Obama absolutely lied to America about his Affordable Healthcare Act. He told us we would be able to keep our current plans and doctors. Quoting Sen. Gillibrand, D-N.Y., she said: "We all knew insurance plans were going to be canceled." Obama knew he was lying to America.
Obama also lies to us about the Second Amendment. He says he isn't trying to take firearms from law-abiding American citizens. The truth? The Washington Post praised Obama's "demand" for an Australian-style roundup and destruction of firearms as "commonsense." Really? As recently as Sept. 23, 2013, the Australian Broadcasting Co. was quoted, saying, "The U.S. president, Barack Obama, says it is time for America to follow the example of countries like Australia when it comes to gun control." Obama wants America to do as Australia has done: seize and destroy firearms from law-abiding citizens. He said so. Either he lies to America, or he lied to The Washington Post and the Australian Broadcasting Co. Which is it?
Obama swore to "preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States." He does the opposite. Obama supporters will say I am radical, or worse. An article on the Internet shows mountains of Australian firearms being crushed. It is time to acknowledge facts staring you in the face.
Obama is attempting to destroy more than just one amendment of our Constitution and lies about it. A recent letter provided verses and locations from the Quran, allowing lying. Obama lies to us about his plans with impunity. Staunch supporters, having been shown proof, will still refuse to believe it.
Impeachment proceedings are once again necessary. America's survival as a country may well depend on conviction of this president.
