ATHENS - Two people were injured Thursday evening in a wreck on U.S. 50 in Athens County, the Ohio Highway Patrol said.
Shandy L. Pack, 32, of Albany, Ohio, and Paul R. Cadman, 32, also of Albany, were taken to O'Bleness Hospital where their condition was unavailable. The injuries were non-incapacitating, the patrol said.
Pack, driving a 1991 Plymouth Acclaim, struck a 1993 F350 Ford pick up truck, the patrol said.
The driver of the truck, Francis V. Wade, 59, of Athens, pulled in front of the Acclaim at the entrance to Ohio 50 from Athens County Road 19, the patrol said.
Wade was issued a citation for an improper turn, the patrol said.
Wade was not injured, the patrol said. A passenger in the truck, Brenda K. Wade, 52, of Athens suffered minor injuries and was allowed to refuse treatment, the patrol said.
