Connie "Farley" Hardway, 66, of Belpre, died Nov. 21, 2013, at her residence.
She was born April 13, 1947, in Wood County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Russell Edward and Barbara Ruth Cross Farley.
She was a member of Broadway Church of Nazarene and retired from Johns Manville after 22 years of service.
She is survived by three sons, Russell Haverty of Parkersburg, Matt (Jenny) Haverty of Barboursville, W.Va., and Charles "Scott" Carpenter (Kimberly) O'Donnell of Dale City, Va.; one daughter, Barbara Beikirch of Parkersburg; two special daughters, Amber Semones of Parkersburg, and Stacy Post Haverty of Belpre; seven grandchildren, Misha Tuttle, Sean Haverty, Loni Beikirch, William O'Donnell of Virginia, Danielle and Chase O'Donnell of Florida, and her very special grandson, Kaiden Haverty of Belpre; five great-grandchildren, Jacob McIntire, Baby Bryson Alexander Dennis of Parkersburg, Navaeh, Jada and Braydon O'Donnell of Florida; great-nephew, Joey Alfred Walker; and last but not least, her best friend, Cindy Sinnett of Parkersburg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carmel Brooks Hardway; one son, Martin Joe Carpenter; one granddaughter, Vanessa Marie O'Donnell; three brothers, Lonnie, Joe and Michael Farley; and four sisters, Sandra David, Linda Semones, Barbara Marcinkowski and Pamela Roush.
Memorial services will be Monday, 11 a.m., at the Leavitt Funeral Home of Belpre, with Pastor Johnny Briles officiating. Inurnment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery North.
